M8 Wellnuts

About Rubber Well-Nuts
Many European and Japanese motorcycles use rubber well nuts of 4mm, 5mm or 6mm sizes (M4, M5, or M6) to mount windscreen and fairing pieces. They are very common item on motorcycles but hard to find and usually a dealer order. Desmoparts has worked very hard to find a nearly unlimited source for quality motorcycle wellnuts. It would not hurt to have a few of these around in case your stock wellnuts give out or dry out.

Due to frequent request we're now stocking the M8 Wellnut although we can't think of a single motorcycle that needs an M8 well nut.

Call or email us at sales at desmoparts dot com if you have any questions about the well nuts. We do have special pricing for orders over 500 units. Dealer inquiries are welcome.

Specs, Sizing, and Ordering
Each Well Nut is sold individually. We find most windscreen mounts need 5mm well nuts and fairing pieces commonly use both 5mm and 6mm. Your old well nuts may be distorted and torn hence making them difficult to measure. To determine if your stock well nut is a 4mm, 5mm or 6mm just measure the diameter of the screw threads that fit the well nut.

Here are the dimensional specs on the Desmoparts well nut in M8:

8mm Well Nut
Overall Height: 18.30mm (0.725")
Barrel Diameter: 15.75mm (0.619")
Flange Diameter: 21.60mm (0.850")
Flange Height: 3.10mm (0.122")

Husqvarna TE610 Stainless Steel Screw Kit

$60.00
$60.00

An absulutely insane amount of screws. An amazing 241-pieces of fine A2-70 stainless steel all bagged labeled and with full instructions. Our goal at Desmoparts is to replace ALL the fasteners that are safe to replace in stainless. Keep in mind some components should not be duplicated in stainless and we leave those screws alone. This kit replaces the stock fasteners on the right and left engine covers, cargo rack, handlebar clamp, mirror mounts, airbox water pump cover, bar ends, oil filter cover, seat, fender, tank, mud flap fairings, license plate and bracket, brake master, brake reservior covers, turn lens covers, hand guards, chain guard and guides, fork collar and much much more. This is our only kit where the ENGINE and BODY screw kits are combined. We figure that if you're riding this particular machine then you want the engine screws as well. These photos will give you an example of what the awesome TE610 looks like in stainless.
